Into the Arlberg freeride experience
Descents over steep flanks and gentle meadow slopes, from prominent peaks through wooded corridors down into the valley. The Arlberg is a feast for the eyes and a place of longing for freeriders and all those who would like to join them thanks to its superb terrain profile. Whether
beginner or advanced, tourer or passionate snowsurfer, everyone will find their perfect opportunity at the Hotel Nassereinerhof among the snow-covered slopes that rise up around the village. You will be staying within walking distance of the Nassereinbahn cable car and
therefore in pole position on the "First Line". Do you lack the necessary experience and confidence to venture out on your own? No problem. The state-certified guides from the "Powderclub" of the Arlberg Ski School run freeride courses and guided tours.
Immerse yourself in a sea of glittering powder snow. The Arlberg has always been writing unforgettable freeride stories.
High-Mountain-Light
The Vallugaspitze is the highest starting point for freeriders in the ski resort. At 2,809 metres, it towers between the provinces of Tyrol and Vorarlberg. Two spectacular downhill runs take you from the summit down to Zürs on the Vorarlberg side of the Arlberg. The descent is only authorised when accompanied by a state-certified guide. Pedestrians can take the Valluga II cable car up to the viewing platform.
